David Stanley Williams

Mr. David Stanley Williams, age 40, of Thurmond, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at Asheville Mission Hospital in Asheville. David was born July 30, 1982 in Wilkes County to Michael David Williams and Georgia Spicer Boyd.

David enjoyed cooking and being outdoors.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his grandparents, Winford Stanley Spicer and Annie Marie Spicer; grandfather, David Junior Williams.

Survivors include: his mother and step-father, Georgia Boyd and husband Bruce of Thurmond; father, Michael David Williams and his partner, Tommy Gentry of Elkin; sister, April Nix and husband Jeremy of Granite Falls; nieces; Aaliyah Williams, Jayden Williams and Hailey Nix.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
