Donald J. Luffman

Mr. Donald J. Luffman, age 60, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence. Donald was born November 17, 1960 in Surry County to Bill and Nelda Carter Luffman.  He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed working as he was able. Donald was a loving son, brother, fiancée, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Darnell.

Survivors include: his parents, Bill and Nelda Luffman of the home; fiancée, Donna Watson of Elkin; sister, Patricia Darnell and her husband Edward of State Road; brother, David Luffman and his wife Patsy of Bristol, VA.; nieces and nephews, Keely Tharpe and her husband John, Travis Luffman and Heather White and her husband Michael; great nieces and nephews, Daniel Tharpe, Taylor Key and her husband Jordan, Matthew Tharpe, Anna Darnell, Rocco White and Teddy White and special friend and helper, Junior Brown.

Donald will lie-in-state Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service and Monday, February, 22, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Ball and Rev. Phillip Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
