Mrs. Dottie Swaim Hall, age 77, of Jonesville passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at Pruitt Health. Mrs. Hall was born December 2, 1942 in Surry County to Vern Wade and Marie Casey Swaim.
Mrs. Hall was a member of Jonesville First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hall; son, Eddie Hall; sister, Vickie Howard; and brother, Tommy Swaim.
Survivors include: son, Todd Hall and wife Elisha of Elkin; daughter, Gina Lambert and husband David of Jonesville; brothers, Wade Swaim and wife Jane of Ronda, Raymond Swaim and wife Daphne of East Bend; grandchildren, Huston Hall, Brady Hall, Kaleigh Vanhoy and husband Connor; Laken Freed and husband Zach, Kaitlin Atwood and husband James, Sarah White and husband Tyrell, William Lambert; great-grandchildren, Bryce Vanhoy, Kinsley Vanhoy, Mason White, Hayden White, and Ansley White.
Mrs. Hall will lie-in-state Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time, a private graveside service will be conducted at Sunrise Cemetery with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating.
The family would like to thank Josh with Surry County Emergency Services and the staff of Pruitt Health rehabilitation and physical therapy for their care.
