Dwight Jerry Nance

Mr. Dwight Jerry Nance, age 83, of Jonesville passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Nance was born November 6, 1936 in Yadkin County to Jerry Dwight and Opal Wagoner Nance.

Mr. Nance was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Town of Jonesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane Nance; brothers, Donald Nance, Harvey Nance, Jessie Nance, Ralph Nance; sisters, Agnes Brown, Joyce Matthews, and Mae Nance.

Survivors include: daughter, Betty Nance of Jonesville; step-sons, Michael Wagoner and wife Judy of Roaring River, Roger Nance and wife Susan of Jonesville; step-daughter, Diane Holbrook and husband Gale of Ronda; grandchildren, Tony Nance and wife Nicole, Michelle Marley and husband Steven, Jasten Combs and wife Jennifer, Andrea Wagoner, Heather Renigar, Jeremy Nance, Jonathan Nance; great-grandchildren, Sara Nance, Brady Marley, Brittany Marley, Zack Combs, Luke Wagoner, Addison Wagoner, Conner Renigar, Jake Renigar, and Lincoln Nance.

Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time, a private graveside service will be conducted at Sunrise Cemetery with Rev. Philip Moore and Rev. Ethan Moore officiating.
