Eddie Baugus

Mr. Eddie Howard Baugus, age 71, of Elkin passed away December 27, 2020 at his home. Mr. Baugus was born September 15, 1949 in Surry County to Howard and Helen Johnson Baugus.

Mr. Baugus was a member of Elkin Valley Valley Baptist Church and retired from Tri-County Motors. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era.

Mr. Baugus was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: wife, Patti Baugus of the home; sons, Jeff Baugus and wife Jennifer of White Plains, Eric Baugus and wife Shannon of Pilot Mountain; brother, Wendell Baugus and wife Joy of Hamptonville; sisters, Gay Nell Baugus and husband June of Elkin, Bonnie Hawks and husband Tony of Elkin; grandchildren, Star Howard, Tyler Baugus, John Baugus; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Norman officiating.
