Ella Mae Prevette Anderson

Mrs. Ella Mae Prevette Anderson, age 84, of Jonesville passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Anderson was born December 21, 1934 in Surry County to Hillary and Dorothy Weatherman Prevette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Spicer; grandson, Ryan Anderson; and brother, Robert Prevette.

Survivors include: her husband, Bill Anderson of the home; sons, Ronnie Anderson and wife Mary Ann of Jonesville, Ricky Anderson and wife Wanda of Jonesville; brother, Ralph Prevette and wife Margaret of Hopkinsville, KY; son-in-law, Leon Spicer of Jonesville; 5 grandchildren, Savannah Matthews, Lisa Nichols, Joey Anderson, Graylon Spicer, Krystal Toler; 11 great grandchildren, Logan Shores Anderson, Dakota Toler, Shella Toler, Ariela Toler, Kameron Toler, Kenzi Spicer, Jack Spicer, Samantha Anderson, Brittany Anderson, Rilyn Jackson, Kairan Jackson; and several great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Mrs. Anderson’s grandson, Graylon Spicer, and Rev. Randy Money officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
