Elsie Swaim Peacock

Mrs. Elsie Swaim Peacock, age 78, of Jonesville passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Peacock was born February 12, 1944 in Yadkin County to Lytle Winfield Swaim and Agnes Irene Anderson.

Mrs. Peacock was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an avid traveler in addition to being a loving and devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Peacock.

Mrs. Peacock is survived by her son, Timothy Peacock and his wife Elizabeth of Jonesville.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
