Evelyn Klosterman

Mrs. Evelyn Geneva Donaldson Boehnlein Klosterman, age 91, of Elkin, formerly of Cincinnati, OH passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Klosterman was born June 28, 1930 in Clermont County, OH to James and Mary Hirschauer Klosterman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Boehnlein; second husband, Wilbur Klosterman; children, Pam Jenkins and Brian Boehnlein.

Survivors include:  sons, Jack Boehnlein and wife Patti of Cincinnati, OH, Tom Boehnlein and wife Kim of Anderson, SC; daughter, Marsha Oeffinger and husband Tom of Elkin; nine grandchildren, Sarah Odom, Susan Crump, Katie Poteat, Melissa Jarrard, Amanda Ruth, Brian Boehnlein, Taylor Boehnlein, Tarah Boehnlein, Dakota Boehnlein, Autumn Boehnlein; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of NC Inc. Blue Ridge Chapter, PO Box 425, Elkin, NC 28621.
