Faye Lassiter Boles

Mrs. Sarah Faye Lassiter Boles, age 88, of Jonesville passed away Sunday May 2, 2021 at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Boles was born January 20, 1933 in Richmond County to James Lacy and Dora Brigman Lassiter.

Mrs. Boles was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She retired from Yadkin County Schools and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard “Bill” Boles.

Survivors include: daughter, Beth Mickey and husband Greg of Spartanburg, SC; son, Steve Boles and wife Debbi of Madison, NC; sister, Marcelle Austin of Wilmington; grandchildren, Meredith Wuhrman and husband Matt, Hannah Mendez and husband James; Wesley Boles; great-granddaughter, Camilla Faye Wuhrman.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
