Florence Talavera

Florence (Angie) Talavera of State Road, NC, peacefully passed away on April 23, 2019. The fifth of eight children, Florence was born on February 10 ^th in Boston, MA. Well loved by family and friends, she was a dedicated pastor and powerful inspiration to many people touching lives wherever she went. Florence is survived by her husband, Pastor David Talavera, her daughters Janis Chandler and Angeleka Talavera and siblings, Lawrence Shepard, Ronald Shepard, Robert Shepard, Vivian Beard, John Cromwell, and her nephew, Robert Shepard. Florence was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Frances Cromwell, Lawrence Shepard, her sister, Patricia Shepard, and brother, Benjamin Shepard. She will be missed by her aunt, Betty Wornum, numerous cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Talavera officiating.
