Francisco Ixchajchal

Our precious son, Obispo Francisco Ixchajchal Sapon, age 20, of Elkin, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident in Houston, Texas.
Francisco was born on August 9, 2002 in Guatemala to Mateo Ixchajchal and Florinda Catarina Sapon Pauac.  Francisco was a 2022 graduate of Elkin High School and was currently attending barber school in Houston Texas where he was a week away from graduating.
Survivors include: his father, Mateo Ixchajchal and his mother, Florinda Sapon of Elkin; sister, Haley Ixchajchal and brother, Alexis Ixchajchal of Elkin.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Iglesia Ebenezer Asamblea de Dios, 708 F St. North Wilkesboro 28659. On Saturday, the family will receive friends from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. at the home of Mateo and Florinda Ixchajchal and from 2:00 -3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. A funeral service will follow at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Elkin. Pastor Max Juan Andres will be officiating all services.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el viernes 9 de junio de 2023 a las 6:00 p.m. en Iglesia Ebenezer Asamblea de Dios, 708 F St. North Wilkesboro 28659. El sábado, la familia recibirá a amigos de 12:00 a 1:00 p.m. en la casa de 2:00 a 3:00 p.m. en Elkin Funeral Service. Un servicio de capilla seguirá en Elkin Funeral Service a las 3:00 p.m. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Hollywood. El pastor Max Juan Andrés estará oficiando todos los servicios.
