Fred Eugene Pack

Mr. Fred Eugene Pack, age 82, of Elkin passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Pack was born November 6, 1937 in Stuart, VA to James and Bertha Stevens Pack.

Mr. Pack was a retired truck driver with Southland Trucking of Boonville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Lou Pack.

Survivors include: sons, Graylyn Poe and fiancé Edie Petree of Elkin, David Pack and wife Debra of Elkin, Greg Pack and wife Tamala of Elkin; daughter, Jayme Money and husband Billy of Elkin; sisters, Ruby Pack and husband Joseph of Meadows of Dan, VA, Carolyn Pack McBride of Mt. Airy; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel Rev. Jamie Casstevens officiating. Burial will follow in Elkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
