Dwayne Garland Wagoner

Mr. Garland Dwayne Wagoner, age 62 of Elkin passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his residence.

Dwayne was born December 22, 1961 in Surry County to Jerry Lee and Joann Crabb Wagoner.

Dwayne was a member of Community Fellowship Church.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Dwayne enjoyed watching WWE and boxing.  He enjoyed building model cars, deer hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father, Dwayne was preceded in death by his brother, Randall Wagoner.

Survivors include: his wife, Joyce of the home; mother, Joann Crabb of Dobson; son, Shawn Dwayne Wagoner of Winston-Salem; daughter, Whitney Wood and husband Scott of Yadkinville; step-daughter, Christina Register and husband Christopher; sister, Tina Potts and husband Wayne of Dobson; grandchildren, Kayden Wood, Raegan Wood, Liam Wagoner, Abby Register, Gabe Register, David Register, Benji Register; several loving nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.
