Gary Dean Parrish

Gary Dean Parrish, age 50, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Center in Winston Salem. Gary was born May 17, 1972 in Surry County to Gary Samuel and Carrie Bell Barker Parrish.

Gary loved to hunt, fish and racing.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: a son, Blake Wishon and wife Katlynn of Elkin; sisters, Angie Spann of Hamptonville, Lisa Osborne and husband Mike of Jonesville, Tawana “Dee Dee” and husband Wayne of Ronda; grandchildren, Lane Wishon and Aleah Wishon; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
