Greyson Lee Helton

Greyson Lee Helton, age 2 months, of Roaring River unexpectedly passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at his home. Greyson was born June 19, 2022 in Surry County to Ashlee Helton and Anthony Carpenter.

Greyson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melissa Kilby and great-grandmother, Reba Cheek.

Survivors include: his mother, Ashlee Helton; father, Anthony Carpenter; grandfather, Randy Helton; aunts and uncles, Linda and Gene Casstevens, Melissa Pennell and Shane Kilby, Samantha Perkins; special cousins, Libby Casstevens Jenks, Tina Wilmoth, and Reggie Casstevens.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. H. Gene Casstevens and Rev. Marvin McCall officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Full Gospel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
