Harlan Eddie Cheek

Mr. Harlan Eddie Cheek, age 66, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Cheek was born June 23, 1955 in Surry County to Max and Verlie Blackburn Cheek.

Mr. Cheek was a member of the Baptist faith, retired landscaper, and loved cooking.

Mr. Cheek was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Betty Cheek of the home; sons, Chancey Nathaniel Cheek of the home, Dustin Butcher and his wife Jamie of Winston-Salem; daughters, Cassa Cheek Murzin and husband James of North Wilkesboro, Brandie Butcher and husband Tim Maher of Jonesville; brother, Reggie Cheek and wife Peggy of Jonesville; nine Grandchildren, Landan, Dawson, Madison, Zeb, Kaitlynne, Kourtey, Kamryn, Kendall, and Kaleb.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
