Ima Ruth Weatherman

Mrs. Ima Ruth Durham Weatherman, age 96, of Jonesville passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Weatherman was born May 21, 1925 in Wilkes County to Herbert Victor and Ruby Mae Royall Durham.

Mrs. Weatherman was a lifelong member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church, retired from Chatham Manufacturing with 40 years of service; and after retirement worked at Walmart for 17 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Weatherman; brothers, Howard Durham and John Durham.

Survivors include: her son, Randall V. Weatherman and wife Cathy of Jonesville; daughters, Kay W. Drum and husband John of Ronda, Mandy W. Brown of Jonesville; five grandchildren, Heather, Shawna, Laura, Aaron, Allison; five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Raven, Sawyer, Mason, Oliver; two great-great grandchildren, Lachlan and Baby Elle due in December.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Greg Runner officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
