Linville Money

Mr. James Linville Money, 82, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Money was born August 19, 1936 in Wilkes County to Howard and Edna Poplin Money.  He was a veteran of the US Navy, a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church and retired from Pepsi Cola.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn White Money of the home; son, Mark Money and his wife Penny of Ronda; daughter, Sherry Johnson and her husband Greg of Gastonia; sisters, Elizabeth Burchette and Carol Ann Cheek; family friend, Elton Lay; grandchildren, Dustin Johnson, Bradley Money and his wife Alicia and Nathan Money and great granddaughter, Avalynn Money.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Seth Siceloff, Rev. Gwyn Anderson and Rev. Roger Groce officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by the NC National Guard Honor Guard and Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
