Jane Drum Swaim

Mrs. Jane Drum Swaim, age 73, of Ronda passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Clemmons Village One. Mrs. Swaim was born June 8, 1949 in Wilkes County to JC and Pearl Combs Drum.

Mrs. Swaim was a member of First Light Church and retired from Yadkin County Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Michelle Stimpson.

Survivors include: her husband, Wade Swaim of the home; daugthers, Sherry McGuire and her husband David of Clemmons, Crystal Spicer and her husband Paul of Lewisville, Lori Smith and her husband Michael of Ronda, Jaimi Swaim of Boone; brother, Johnny Drum and his wife Kay of Ronda; brother-in-law, Raymond Swaim and his wife Daphne of East Bend; grandchildren, Matthew McGuire, Alli Spicer, and Quinn Spicer.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to New Horizons Adult Day Services, 1917 Old Hwy 421 W, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
