Mrs. Janie Catherine Adams Vanhoy Pegram, age 83, of Asheboro passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Pegram was born October 5, 1937 in Wilkes County to James Quincy and Eddie Billings Adams.
Mrs. Pegram retired from Black and Decker in Asheboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Sue Vanhoy; son, Randall Lawrence Vanhoy; brothers, Billy Adams, Joe Adams, Dickie Adams, Jack Adams; sisters, Betty King and Ruth Wright.
Survivors include: grandson, Ryan Vanhoy and wife Michelle Chewens; great-grandson, Hudson Vanhoy; sister, Sue Edwards; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Knobbs Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Bauguess officiating.
