Jeffrey Thomas Schubart

Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Schubart, age 66, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the W.G. “Bill” Hefner Medical Center in Salisbury.  He was born March 31, 1955 in Rockland, NY to Francis Schubart and Frances Tomson Schubart.  Mr. Schubart was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era and was a retired electrician.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Valerie Schubart.

Survivors include: sons, Jeff Schubart and his wife Susan of Roaring River, Francis Schubart of Hays, Adam Schubart and girlfriend Jewel Kersey of Roaring River and Jonathan Schuback and his wife Kathryn of Seattle, WA.; daughter, Kristina S. Everts and her husband Chuck of Washington State; brothers, Mike Schubart of Black Mountain, Bill Schubart of Black Mountain and Greg Schubart of Troy; sisters, Donna S. Sytsma of Chester, NY, Valerie S. Fitzsimmons of Pine Bush, NY and Jennifer S. Abrams of Pine Bush, NY; grandchildren, Brittany Welborn, Brooke Prevette, Jordan Schubart, Valerie Schubart, Bethany Schubart, Amos Schubart and Logan Schuback.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Temple Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of W.G. “Bill” Hefner Medical Center for their care.
