Jennifer Elgabrowny

Jennifer Tulbert Elgabrowny, 42, of Christiansburg, Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at UVA University Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born October 28, 1981 in Surry County to Keith Tulbert and Ellen Evans Tulbert.

Jennifer's greatest passion in life was her children. She spent her life in search of the divine and when asked to describe her, by those who loved her most, they chose three powerful words humble, kind, and loving.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Bob Tulbert, uncle Steve Caudill, and father-in-law Ibrahim Elgabrowny.

Survivors include; her husband Taurik Elgabrowny, of the home, parents Keith and Ellen Evans Tulbert, daughter, Barbara "Bobbi" Elgabrowny; son, Ibrahim "Ibi" Elgabrowny; brother Joshua Tulbert and his partner Traci Ballance, sister Julie Tulbert and her partner Caleb Bowers;  grandparents Barbara Tulbert, RJ and Judy Evans; aunt and uncles,  Lynn Caudill, Jason and Lauren Evans, Lynn and Pete Zimmerman; cousins, Kaitlin Evans, Ian Zimmerman, Ryan Zimmerman and his wife Meredith, Sloane Zimmerman, and Ellie Zimmerman; mother-in-law Lisa Elgabrowny; sisters and brothers-in-law, Aleia Elgabrowny, Aly Elgabrowny, Jennah Elgabrowny, Abdullah Elgabrowny, and Iman Elgabrowny.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Newell Hauser officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends Saturday, January 13th, 2024 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service.
