Jimmy Conley

Mr. James “Jimmy” Leroy Conley, age 53, of Elkin passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Jimmy was born July 24, 1967 to Dwight Eugene and Cecilia Jean Shortt Conley.

Jimmy enjoyed life, dirt track racing, being outdoors and on the river. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mr. Conley was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his children, Valerie Conley, Jeremy Whitaker, Rogerdean Whitaker, Jereme Burdette; brothers, Richard Conley, Sr. and wife Donna, Tim “Flip” Conley; sister, Angel Conley; granddaughter, Lia Skyler Sapp; nieces and nephews, Richard Conley, Jr., C.J. Conley, Steve Rice, Bryan Conley, Zymee Blackburn, Eddie Blackburn, Jesse Conley, Lee Conley, and Krista Brodie.

A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
