John Jeffery Lyon, Sr.

Reverend John Jeffery Lyon, 73 years, of Berlin, NJ passed away on August 17, 2020. Beloved husband of Joyce (née Locklin) Lyon. Loving father of Linda (Michael) Lyon-Wright, Elaine (Jeffrey) Lyon-Smith, Joel L. (Jennifer) Lyon, and the late John Jeffery Lyon, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Noah, Micah, Luke, Kylie, Caleb (Haley), Colin, Kelah, Taylor, Joelle, Violet, Cienna and Nina.

Rev. Lyon was the Pastor of the New Freedom Bible Church for over 25 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday afternoon from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN, NJ 08009. Home Going Service 4:00PM. Another viewing will be held Monday morning from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Elkin Funeral Service, 560 North Carolina 268W, Elkin, NC 28621 followed by a service at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Elkin, NC. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the New Freedom Bible Church P.O. Box 403, Berlin, NJ 08009 would be appreciated.
