Mitch Vestal

Mr. John Mitchell Vestal, age 57, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Northern Regional Hospital of Surry County. Mitch was born February 7, 1964 in Surry County, NC to Buddy James Vestal and Emaline Mitchell Vestal.

Mitch was a simple man with a very kind soul and was a jack of all trades.  He had a heart that never stopped giving, a passion for cooking and serving others in their time of need with awesome home cooked meals. Many meals went from his home to the homes of others which was his way of showing and proclaiming his love for them.

Mitch was preceded in death by his mother, Emaline Mitchell Vestal and twin brothers, Mark Vestal and Mike Vestal.

Survivors include: his father, Buddy James Vestal of Elkin; fiancée, Bonnie Reynolds of Virginia; brother, Stephen Wheeler Vestal of Elkin; twin sister, Beth Vestal Reavis and her husband Zach of Greensboro and sister, Jayme V. Martin of Elkin; and an extended family of several wonderful nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
