Jonathan Dale Steele

Mr. Jonathan Dale Steele, age 57, of State Road, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Jonathan was born in Surry County on April 22, 1966, to David Meredith Steele Sr. and Texie Cheek Steele.

Jonathan enjoyed reading books, playing board and card games, and watching the cooking channel.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Alan R. Steele.

Survivors include his mother, Texie Cheek Steele of State Road; David M. Steele Jr. of Elkin; Mark Steele and fiancé, Robin Reece of Mountain Park; and former sister-in-law Mary Noring.

Services will be held at a later date.
