Judy Dancy Billings

Mrs. Judy Dancy Billings, age 73, of Traphill passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Billings was born March 3, 1947 in Wilkes County to Haskel Dancy (Nellie) and Reba Pierce (John Robert).

Mrs. Billings was a member of Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Bobbie Hall, Cindy Hall; siblings, Jean, Lynn, Johnny, and Mary Louise.

Survivors include: her husband, Clyde Billings of the home; daughters, Judy Hall, Teeny Hall, sons, Clyde Billings (Lisa), Carl Billings (Shannon), Charlie Billings (Tracy); brothers and sisters, Eddie, Larry, Ricky, Robin, Gaynelle, Frankie, Annie Lee, Jackie, Larry, Wanda, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jackie Caudill officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home; Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital; and Forsyth Medical Center for their care.
