Judy Bauguess Moody

Mrs. Judy Carolyn Bauguess Moody, age 73, formerly of Elkin, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at The Wilson House in Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Moody was born in Surry County on December 1, 1950 to Charles William and Retha Mae McCann Bauguess.

When her husband Clarence was living, Judy enjoyed their many trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway.  She also enjoyed dining out with her friends and family members.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dean Moody.

Mrs. Moody is survived by two brothers, Larry Bauguess of Tarboro and Ricky Bauguess of State Road, and two nephews, Seth Aaron Bauguess and Brandon Bauguess.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Monday, August 12, at 10:00 am at Rocky Ford Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2841 Daisy Lane N. Suite E, Wilson, NC 27896.
