Justin Lee McLamb was born on June 4th, 1979 in Key West, Florida to Howard W. Cagle McLamb and Louise Helen Fitzgibbons McLamb. He was raised in Georgia, Massachusetts, and in the Triad area of North Carolina. He graduated from North Davidson High School in 1998, where he was a member of the varsity basketball and football teams. His children were his reason for living- his son Zaden Lee McLamb, was born in 2005, and his daughter, Madison Avery McLamb, was born in 2008. In 2014, he found true love with his soulmate, Alicia Ann Jenkins, and loved her two children, Riley and Sidney Jenkins, as his own. Justin died suddenly in his home on June 3 rd , 2020.
In addition to his soulmate, his children, and his mother, Justin is survived by his beloved grandparents, James and Louise Fitzgibbons; his brother, Christopher McLamb; nieces and nephews, Rose McLamb, Bailee Griffin, Sawyer Griffin, June Sparks, Maze Sparks, Carson Griffin, and Tyler Sparks; aunts and uncles, Tom and Ann Fitzgibbons, Karen and James Britt, Jeff and Deborah Fitzgibbons, and Charlotte and Robbie Britt; and numerous cousins, friends, and in-laws.
Justin is preceded in death by his father and his uncle, James Fitzgibbons, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Dallas Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Justin will lie-in-state from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
