Kenneth Lee Dameron

Mr. Kenneth Lee Dameron, age 83, of Bolivia, NC passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home. Mr. Dameron was born May 29, 1937 in Wilkes County to R.S. and Sally Alley Dameron.

Mr. Dameron was a member of Pfafftown Baptist Church and retired from RJ Reynolds. He was a past member of the State Road Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 43 years, Melba Wood Dameron of the home; son, Steven Dameron and wife Debbie of Elkin; daughter, Teresa D. Cole and husband Mike of State Road; stepdaughter, Ann Hardy and husband Steve of Bolivia; brother, Bueal Dameron and wife Thelma of Kernersville; brother-in-law, Glyde Shaver of Colfax; sisters-in-law, Lou Wood Hampton of Elkin, Vickie Wood of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Jason Cole of Elkin, Josh Cole of Yadkinville; step-grandchildren, Ashley Hardy Carnicelli of Canada, Tyler Hardy of Bolivia; great-grandchildren, Kinzey, Natalya, Bryce, Jase, Oakleigh; and step great-grandson, Jordan.

Mr. Dameron will lie-in-state, Friday, February 5, 2021 from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. A private graveside service at Crestwood Memorial Gardens will be conducted at a later date.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Brunswick County; Visiting Angels caregivers, Jordan, Jennie, Tracy, Kaylee, Helen; and Home Instead overnight caregivers, Farrah, Tanya, and Lori for their care.
