Kevin Bowman

Mr. Kevin Gene Bowman, age 54 of Moravian Falls passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Bowman was born September 10, 1966 in Surry County to Mitchell G. Bowman and Joann McMillan Bowman Greer.

Mr. Bowman attended Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a former announcer at Friendship Motor Speedway.

Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his niece, Erika Lachele Evans and stepbrother, Gary Gibbons.

Survivor include: wife, Kelly Nance Bowman of the home; father and stepmother, Mitchell and Christine Bowman of Mt. Airy; mother, Joann McMillan Greer of Thomasville; sister, Kendel Bowman Heraldo and husband Antonio of Thomasville, half-brother, Michael Chumley of Shelby; stepsister, Tracie Gibbons of Mocksville; nephews, Dakota Cruz, Jonathan Heraldo; niece, Micaela Cruz; and special pet, Max Bundy Bowman.

A memorial service will be conducted Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Simpson officiating. The family requests those attending the memorial service to dress casually.
