Kimberly Dawn Hayes

Ms. Kimberly Dawn Hayes, age 53, of Elkin, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Ms. Hayes was born February 23, 1970 in Forsyth County to Alton Eugene Hayes and Kathy Sue Warren Hayes.

She attended Union Baptist Church in Traphill.

In addition to her mother, Kimberly was preceded in death by her “sister-cousin”, Christy Shore Jester; Kirk Boyd; and Scott Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexandria Meaghan Hayes of Jonesville; her father, Alton Eugene Hayes of Jonesville; special “niece” Olivia Eden Jester and special “great-niece” Monroe Jade Sampson both of Elkin; "son" Houston Reynolds and fiancée Amelia; "sister-cousins" Vicky Williams, Monica Swaim, Mary Ellen Gilliam, Gina Barker; special friends, Joyce Cirillo, Austin Church, Jordan Osowitt; several special cousins, aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Steve Stoltzfus officiating. Interment will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
