Kyle Bray

Mr. Boyd Kyle Bray, 77, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.  He was born August 11, 1941 in Alleghany County to John Harvey Bray and Martha Royall Bray. He was a member of Charity Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cassie Virginia Brooks Bray, son, Roger Lee Henry, infant son, Jimmy Lee Henry, and granddaughter, Sonia Henry.

Survivors include: wife, Helen Woodring Bray of Thurmond; son, Randy Bray and his wife Cathie of State Road; daughter, JoAnn Harris and her husband Julius of Wilkesboro; brothers, Kenneth Bray of King, Kennette Bray and his wife Betty of Jonesville and Kelly Bray and his wife Glenna of Elkin; sister, Kathleen Myers of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Braelyn Pardue, Crystal Henry, Amanda Harris, Tara Harris; and great-grandchildren, Destiny Lyons and Jasmine Jones.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Mickey Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Hill Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
