Mr. Lee Reynolds, age 71, of Elkin passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Reynolds was born February 23, 1950 in Davie County to Lester Reynolds and Mittie Reynolds Day.
Mr. Reynolds attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from Chatham Manufacturing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie “L.G.” Reynolds.
Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Reynolds of the home; sons, Scott Reynolds of Elkin, Jason Reynolds and wife Lori of Ronda; sisters, Carolyn Everhart and husband Gilbert of Elkin, Georgia Smith and husband Steve of Advance; grandchildren Houston Reynolds, Maci Reynolds; special friends, Randy and Delane Hayes; and two canine companions, Sassy and Zoe.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Reynolds will lie-in-state Tuesday from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Will Ballard, the staff of Elkin Dialysis Center, and the anonymous kidney donor which Lee received on October 25, 2020.
