Leo Franklin Weller

Mr. Leo Franklin Weller, age 92, of State Road passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home. Mr. Weller was born October 3, 1928 in Frederick County, MD to Merril and Florett Weller.

Mr. Weller was a member of Austin Baptist Church and United States Army veteran, serving during the World War II era.

Mr. Weller was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Weller of the home; stepson, David Jones and wife Tonya of Stokes County; brother, Roland Weller of Maryland; two step-grandchildren, Joseph Jones and Lilly Jones.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Austin Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Spicer officiating. Mr. Weller will lie-in-state Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
