Linda Bray Osborne

Mrs. Linda Lee Bray Osborne, age 79 passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Linda was born September 28, 1944, to Sam Jones and Louise Byrd Bray.  She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church then later became a member at Arlington First Baptist.  Linda enjoyed sitting on her front porch and watching the children play in the neighborhood.  She loved to read her bible, gardening, cooking, puzzle books, and cross stitch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, and her cat, Fluffy.

Survivors include her son, Lauren Taylor Osborne, and his wife, Dawn of State Road; daughter, Jennifer Blackburn of Elkin; grandchildren, Taylor Osborne, and Dustin Blackburn; and special cousin, Linda S. Ashby.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.

A graveside service will be conducted at Sunrise Cemetery on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Josh Jenkins officiating.
