Linda Holcomb Lyon

Mrs. Linda Holcomb Lyon, age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Linda was born May 21, 1941 in Wilkes County to Ira Samuel and Verda Marie Cockerham Holcomb. She was a member of Austin Baptist Church.  Linda loved to travel. She also enjoyed making crafts, jewelry, feeding birds and squirrels and gardening.

In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Grant Lyon and two brothers.

Survivors include: her son, Tracy Crouse of Thurmond; daughter, Teresa Crouse Brown of N. Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Brandi Mathis and husband Justin, Eric Crouse and wife Samantha, Tyler Sanborn and wife Jessica, Winston Osborne; great grandchildren, Natalie, Cadence and Ryland. She also had a special heart sister, Betty Lyon.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. David Spicer, Rev. Phil Simmons and Rev. James Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service.
