Linda Mendenhall

Mrs. Linda Maude Eidson Mendenhall, age 78, of Winston-Salem, formally of Elkin, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Mendenhall was born March 30, 1941 in Richmond County to Glenn and Lillian Harris Eidson.

Mrs. Mendenhall was a member of Union Grove Methodist Church and a graduate of North West High School in Forsyth County. She retired from RJ Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Mendenhall.

Survivors include:  son, William Glenn Mendenhall and wife Mercedes of Mt. Dora, FL; daughter, Tammy M. Webster and husband Jim of Lantana, TX; sisters, Hannah L. Eidson of Olin, Rosa Glenn Ladd of Kernersville; and granddaughter, Amanda Grippe of Lantana, TX.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Comprehensive Cancer Center, PO Box 571021, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
