Linda Faye Milan

Mrs. Linda Faye Milan, age 72, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at her residence in Elkin.

Mrs. Milan was born June 12, 1950 in Surry County to Roy Lee Sparks and Vertie Faye Pardue Sparks. She was a member of East Elkin Baptist Church and loved reading, coloring, and her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Milan was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Eugenia Sparks Harris.

Survivors include: son, Jeff Whitaker and his wife Cheryl of Elkin; and granddaughter, Marena Monique Roten and her husband Alex of State Road. She was a special Grammy to Kaylinn Cave and loving Nana to Frankie Francis.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Rex Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
