Linda Kay Osborne

Ms. Linda Kay Osborne, age 73, of Elkin passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Pruitt Health. Ms. Osborne was born July 26, 1948 in Surry County Calvin and Eloise Macemore Osborne.

Ms. Osborne was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Osborne was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from Chatham Manufacturing.

Survivors include: her sister, Ann Chappell and her husband Doug of Jonesville; nieces, Julie Reed and her husband Andy of Elkin, Angela Lankford of Jonesville; great-nephew, Brady Reed, Eyan Lankford; great-niece, Adelyn Reed; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and special friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds, Dr. Gary Byrd, and Rev. Joe Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Ms. Osborne will lie-in-state from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The family requests that all those attending the services wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Stones Throw Christian Ministries, Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund, 103 Fellowship Way, State Road, NC 28676 or Alex McFarland Ministries, PO Box 485, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.
