Linda Hicks Stanley

Mrs. Linda Faye Hicks Stanley, age 64, of Thurmond passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Stanley was born June 28, 1956 in Forsyth County to John Wesley and Lillie Mae Mabe Hicks.

Mrs. Stanley attended Community Fellowship Church and was a bus driver for Wilkes County Schools.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Brenda Anderson.

Survivors include: her sons, Randy Stanley and wife Kristie of Elkin, Jayson Stanley and wife Kim of State Road, mother, Lillie Mae Mabe Hicks of Rock Creek; brothers, Mike Hicks and wife Lou of Tobaccoville, Keith Hicks of Thurmond, Darrell Cayton and wife Jeanie of North Wilkesboro, Gerald Ester and wife Karen of North Wilkesboro, Bobby Ester of North Wilkesboro; sisters, Teresa Passmore and husband Richard of North Wilkesboro, Barbara Ester of Thurmond; grandchildren, Megan Riddle, Kirstin Stanley, Jenna Stanley, Brielle Williams, Bristal Williams, Samantha Adams, Aran Wood; great-grandchildren, Hendrix Bryd, Nova Riddle; and beloved furbaby, Buddy Fri Stanley.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Community Fellowship Church with Rev. Michael Osborne officiating.
