Lois Hayes

Mrs. Lois June Luffman Hayes, age 86, passed away July 28, 2022 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Hayes was born February 6, 1936 in Surry County to Austin Edward Luffman and Thelma Elizabeth Mooney Luffman.

Mrs. Hayes was of the Baptist faith and was a retired seamstress at Industry For The Blind.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Clyde Hayes and daughter-in-law, Lou N. Hayes.

Survivors include: her son, Randy Hayes of State Road and brother, Austin Jackie Luffman and his wife Barbara of Elkin.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Shoaley Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
