Lynann Grizzell

Mrs. Lynann Sue Stoermer Grizzell, age 63, of Elkin passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Grizzell was born March 11, 1958 in Fresno, CA to George and Juanita Ridenour Stoermer.

Mrs. Grizzell was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and worked with Aladdin’s Hallmark in Elkin.

Mrs. Grizzell was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband, Stephen R. Grizzell of the home; son, Stephen Jarrod Grizzell of Elkin; daughter, Laureen Burcham of Elkin; son-in-law, Travis Burcham of Elkin; brothers, Randy Stoermer of California, Doug Stoermer and wife Michelle of Oklahoma; sister, Peggy Peterson and husband Bob of California; sister-in-law, Carol Stoermer of California; grandchildren, Ashley Burcham, Aaron Burcham, and Hayley Burcham.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. John Attaway and Rev. Phil Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
