Margaret Louise Hoots

Margaret “Louise” Hoots, age 70, of Roaring River, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at her residence.

Louise was born November 24, 1952 in Wilkes County to Banner Terrance Billings and Dora Ethel Combs Billings.

Louise enjoyed basketball but especially the UNC Tarheels, hummingbirds, and dogs.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters and eight brothers. Survivors include: Her husband, Gary Hoots of the home; a son, Kelly Thomas Hoots and wife Cynthia of Weaverville NC, A daughter, Ashley Lindsey and husband Zachary of Valdese, NC; a sister, Carol Nixon of Yadkinville; six grandchildren, Jackson Hoots, William Hoots, Connor Hoots, Millie Lindsey, Lucy Lindsey, Eylah Lindsey, along with several nieces and nephews.
