Margie Marie Foster

Mrs. Margie Marie Foster, age 82, of Ronda went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 9, 2020. Mrs. Foster was born January 3, 1938 in Wilkes County to Freeland and Mary Soots Wadell.

Mrs. Foster was a devoted member of Ronda Church of God and retired from Elkin Furniture.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lahoma Foster; brothers, Jimmy Waddell, Robert Waddell, Garvey Waddell, Albert Waddell, Paige Waddell; sisters, Shirley Foster and Sylvia Combs.

Survivors include: son, Johnny Wade Foster, Jr. and wife Mary of Elkin; grandchildren, Logan Foster of Elkin, John Morgan Foster of Elkin, William Levi Foster of Elkin, Molly Foster of Elkin; special friend, Martha Spivey of Ronda; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ronda Church of God with Rev. Jody Bewley officiating. Burial will follow in Ronda Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Ronda Church of God.
