Margie Moody

Mrs. Margie Anne Moody, age 72, of Thurmond passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Woltz Hospice in Dobson. Mrs. Moody was born January 10, 1948 to Earl and Bessie Jones Royal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Moody; Sons, Kip Moody and Randy Moody, and a daughter Dora Lisa Moody.

Survivors include: a daughter, Heather McSorley and husband Dwayne of Thurmond; Brother, Gerry Royal of Mooresville; sister, Barbara Carpenter of West Jefferson; Grandchildren, Travis McSorley and Fiance’ Crystal, and Dustin McSorley.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at White Rock Cemetery in Thurmond with Rev. Adam Collins officiating
