Marie Hazard Schmidt, age 96, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 14, 1927, in Newport, Rhode Island, to John Hazard and Margaret Kaelin Hazard.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne Mckenna Simoneau, and husband Art of Dobson.
