Marlene Apicella, age 68, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on Monday, April 4, 1955, in Gallia County, Ohio, to Golden Newsome and Edith Marcum Newsome.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marlene will be lovingly remembered by her surviving sister, Lucille Travis of Boonville, NC, and her special niece, Rose Marie Prosser of Georgia.
