Mary Jane Bell

Ms. Mary Jane Bell, age 61, of Hays passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mary Jane was born May 7, 1958 in Alleghany County to Lester Claude and Beatrice Halsey Bell.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: son, Troy Dean Powell II (Jessica Lynn); daughters, Crystal Dawn Howard, Deanna Marie Thompson (Cody Dean); sister, Betty Hall and husband Tim; grandchildren, Angel Starr Howard, Andrew Scott Howard, Alyssa  Marie Hayes, Samantha Dawn Hayes, Brittany Skylar Hayes, Bentley Dean Powell, Emerie Lynn Powell, Xavier Dean Thompson, and Mason Nathaniel Thompson.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Jeremy Simpson officiating.
