Mary Ellen Bass Wood

Mary Ellen Bass Wood, age 73 passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home.

Mary was born April 29, 1951, in Franklin County PA, to Walter Dudley Bass and Winifred Orlea Bass. She was a member of Community Fellowship Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Wood; two brothers, Frank Bass and John Bass.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Wood of Salisbury; brothers, David Bass and wife Louise of Elkin, James Bass and wife Jennifer of Elkin; sisters, Ann Johnson and husband Brian of Elkin, Susan Collins of Elkin, Joyce King of Elkin; grandchild, Michael Jared Wood; brother-in-law, Terry Wood and wife Beckie; several nieces and nephews.

All services for Mary will be private at Community Fellowship Church.
